Abstract

This paper describes, analyses and reflects on the methods used to explore the research confidence, skills and experiences of library, information and knowledge (LIK) practitioners in the UK. The rationale behind the methods and approach is shared along with some of the lessons learnt in this novel group project, with the aim of sharing knowledge gained and supporting future LIK practitioners to do research in the sector.
