Abstract
Palliative care, or end-of-life care, is a relatively new discipline in more economically-resourced countries. In less rich countries, end-of-life care is still taking root with government health services. This film highlights the work of Dr Guyatri in India, who is pioneering palliative care services to urban and rural communities. Her work is providing a model of practice that is effective and efficient, and which is becoming a template for wider application across India.
