Abstract

The overarching aim of the Drug Interventions Programme (DIP) is to identify and engage with offenders in the criminal justice system who use drugs and/or alcohol, and encourage them to engage with appropriate treatment services in order to reduce acquisitive crime. This DIP Activity report for St Helens shows trends up to the year ending March 2022 for clients accessing the Criminal Justice Intervention Team (CJIT). It complements the monthly DIP Performance Reports by providing an annual snapshot of the CJIT data set, including episode details and client demographics.
