Abstract

As a fashion illustrator, most of the work I create is prescribed and restricted by the bounds of a specific brief, usually set by someone else. Opportunities to engage in the creative freedom of personal projects are rare.
The LightNight 2021 theme 'PLAY' offered me the opportunity to do just that: to produce lighthearted fashion images and play - with colour, pattern and texture - free from the constraints of an external brief.
