Abstract
This is an ambitious collaborative research and exhibition project using Robert Tressell’s seminal working class novel and socialist tract, ‘The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists’ as a catalyst and starting point for site-specific research and art works. Croxteth Hall will be viewed or articulated by the art works through the conceptual lens of the Tressell novel.
