Abstract
Sole_Zine is a new project dedicated to recording UK trainer culture. An ongoing project to create an archive of stories to include, artefacts, photography, interviews and other ephemera that captures British Trainer Culture and it's significance in terms of fashion, identity and community.
My Mersey Paradise: This issue involves the archiving of stories in menswear and shares new insight associated with the important and significant footwear models that shaped the post Terrace Casual scene in Liverpool and the Merseyside region. The project involves interviews and photographic records from Brendan (Jockey) Wyatt of Transalpino that contextualise the emerging and evolving style codes in Liverpool.
