Abstract

It's not only about changing behaviours, but about maintaining those changes. It's not just about removing behaviours, but about offering alternative coping mechanisms to these. It's not just about patients and carers, it's also about staff. In other words, it's about applied research which requires interdisciplinarity, patient and public involvement and engagement, health psychology and behavioural change principles integrated in our health and care systems. Dr Lisa Newson and Oladayo Bifarin share their academic and clinical experiences with Katalin.
