Abstract
Catherine Wilkinson shares elements of her journey from academic to youth work pracademic, arguing more widely that a reflective biographical approach can enable practitioners to better understand the complexities of their professional identities over time, enabling them to approach their work with young people with greater authenticity and self-awareness.
