Abstract

This thesis examines the issue of anorexia nervosa in males and the stigmatisation associated with the disorder. Influenced by my own experiences with the disorder, and my passion for political theatre, this thesis aims to raise awareness of the issue amongst men in the hope it may not only educate society regarding the matter, but act as a catalyst for male sufferers to seek professional support.
