Abstract
This thesis investigates the development of a regional Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) entrepreneurial ecosystem in Liverpool City Region. Integrating six theoretical lenses, it proposes a novel conceptual framework and identifies civic entrepreneurs as catalytic actors driving blended value creation through embedded, hybrid, and structurally negotiated organisational practices.
