Abstract

The banking sector plays a critical role in fostering sustainability by directing capital towards environmentally and socially responsible projects. Yet, there is a perceived need for studies which shed some light on their activities in this field. This Communication sheds some light on the contribution of the banking sector to support the development of small organisations towards SDG 9.
