Abstract

Sole_Zine is a research project dedicated to documenting and archiving British Trainer Culture. Trainers, Sneakers, Kicks, Webs, Strides, Soles, Creps, Beaters, Trabs, Trainees. Whatever you call your footwear, there is a particular tribe who is obsessive about theirs. The 07 Community issue talks to collectors to discover different stories, focus and approaches within this sub-culture.
